Very popular is Playa del Ingles on Gran Canaria. It’s very touristic, but has also a nice beach with a very big dune. …. where you can go walking and walking and walking… 
Playa del Ingles is in the south of Gran Canaria, not far from the airport.
There are many restaurants and shopping-centers like “Yumbo” and “Kasbah” in Playa del Ingles…. and very near is the go-kart
It has lots of Hotels here. Cheap hotels and of course also very expensive ones.
