Today we have a public holiday on La Palma … the 1. May Fiesta del Trabajo.. and if this is the day we celebrate the working … nobody works on La Palma 
And on the 3. May we have another public holiday here. Breña Alta, Breña Baja and Santa Cruz celebrate the Fiesta de la Cruz …. the celebration of the conquest of La Palma and the foundation of the capital Santa Cruz.
So this week there are lots of days off here … and lots of people went on holiday … but of course there are also lots of tourist here from other Islands of the Canary Islands….
